GlobalSpec began producing online events a year ago - with the first show for Industrial Automation - and is now on target to produce 22 this year with 44 on the 2011 calendar.  Reception by exhibitors and attendees alike has been overwhelmingly positive: http://www.globalspec.com/advertising/events   Unfortunately, for demographics, age is not a required field from attendees - but otherwise complete registration information is delivered to all exhibitors on everyone touching their booth.  ROI has been reported as high as 10:1 and average time spent in booth is over 10 minutes: the web has a wealth of untapped potential.
